About Burhan

What does Burhan Enterprises do?

Burhan Enterprises is a fabric sourcing, development and trading partner. We help fashion brands, buying houses and importers source, develop and deliver fabric from Pakistan's mill network — with sampling, quality-control coordination and full export support.

Is Burhan a manufacturer or a mill?

No. We are a sourcing and development partner, not a manufacturer. We coordinate with partner weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing and finishing units, giving you one accountable relationship instead of many.

How is Burhan different from a marketplace or platform?

A marketplace hands you listings. We give you a curated, accountable partner who develops fabric, coordinates production, and stands behind the order from swatch to export.

Are you a fabric sourcing agent?

We do what a good sourcing agent does — and more. A typical agent introduces you to a mill for a commission and steps back. Burhan acts as one accountable sourcing, development and export partner: we contract the order in our own name, develop and sample the fabric, coordinate quality control across partner units, and handle export documentation and logistics. You get one clear price and one company that stands behind the order — no hidden agent fees layered on top.

Where are you based?

We are based in Karachi, Pakistan, and have been operating in textiles since 2007.

How do I contact Burhan Enterprises?

Email fahad.faheem@burhanenterprises.com or message us on WhatsApp at +92 334 0229966.

Do you work with large buying houses?

Yes. We consolidate multiple mills into one accountable relationship for buying houses and exporters.

Do you work with small fashion brands?

Absolutely. Small and emerging brands are a core focus, with low MOQs and hands-on development support.

Fabrics & Types

Which fabrics do you supply?

Greige (loom-state), dyed, RFD (ready-for-dye), denim and bottomweights, cotton wovens, canvas and specialty weaves, knits, printed (made-to-order) and sustainable/certified fabric.

What is greige fabric?

Greige (loom-state) fabric is woven or knitted fabric that has not yet been dyed or finished. It's ideal when you want to control dyeing, printing or finishing yourself.

What does RFD mean?

RFD means "ready for dyeing" — fabric prepared so it takes dye cleanly. It's a common starting point for brands developing their own colours.

Do you supply denim?

Yes — denim and bottomweights from 6oz to 14oz, including 98% cotton / 2% poly denim, across a range of finishes.

Do you supply knit fabric?

Yes — knits such as single jersey, interlock and rib, developed to order.

Development & Printing

Do you offer custom fabric development?

Yes. We develop fabric from a reference or spec — through lab dips, strike-offs and sampling — to bulk, coordinating each production stage for you.

Can you match a fabric I already have?

Yes. Send a reference swatch or spec and we'll source or develop the closest match from our mill network.

What if I don't know exactly which fabric I need?

That's fine — that's what development is for. Share your product, reference or idea and we'll guide you to the right construction, weight and finish.

Do you supply printed fabric?

Yes — printed fabric is developed to order. Send your print or brief and we'll coordinate rotary, digital or screen printing.

Ordering, MOQ & Quotes

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

It depends on the process. Digital and sublimation printing starts at 100 m per colour per design; rotary printing from 3,000 m per colour per design. Custom dyeing starts at 1,500 m per colour for qualities under 160 GSM and 3,000 m per colour at 160 GSM and above. Greige and available stock qualities can often ship in smaller lengths. Exact MOQ is confirmed per order.

Do you offer low MOQ for startups?

Yes. Supporting emerging brands with low MOQs and sampling is one of the things we do best.

What information do you need to give me a quote?

Five things: fabric type or reference, quantity (sampling and bulk), target price, timeline, and your market plus any certifications required.

How do I request a sample?

Use the sample request form or WhatsApp us with your fabric type, quantity, target price, timeline and market. We'll respond quickly with next steps.

How do payments work?

We work with standard international terms such as LC and TT. We'll agree terms clearly before any order.

Is there a cost for samples?

The swatches themselves are free; courier delivery is not — we quote the shipping cost for your approval before we dispatch. Sample yardage may carry a small cost depending on the development. Either way we tell you the figure upfront.

Swatches, Quality & Timelines

Do you provide free fabric swatches?

Yes — the swatches are free, so you can assess hand-feel and quality before committing to a sample or bulk order. Courier delivery is charged: we quote it for your approval before dispatch. A4 pieces, up to 10 qualities per request.

How do I check quality before placing a bulk order?

Through free swatches, sampling, and quality-control coordination including inspection before dispatch.

What are your typical lead times?

Greige fabric typically ships in 30–60 days. Custom dyeing takes 30–60 days after lab-dip approval, and printing 20–40 days after strike-off approval (varies by season). Sampling is typically a few weeks. Exact lead time is confirmed with every quotation.

How quickly do you respond to inquiries?

Fast. Send a structured brief and you'll get a clear, professional reply — usually within one business day.

Sustainability & Export

What certifications can you provide?

Depending on the quality and mill, we can support certifications such as GOTS and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on request. Tell us your requirement and we'll confirm what's available.

Do you supply organic or sustainable fabric?

Yes. We source organic cotton and certified/sustainable qualities on request, with documentation where available.

How do you handle restricted substances (RSL and REACH)?

We coordinate third-party lab testing against your RSL and REACH/UK-REACH parameters through accredited laboratories, with test reports shared before dispatch. Partner mills hold certificates such as OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and GOTS, which we share under NDA on request — we don't claim these certificates ourselves. The exact test package is confirmed per order.

What is GSP+ and how does it help me?

Pakistan currently holds GSP+ status with the EU: qualifying textile lines can enter at zero or preferential duty on qualifying HS codes, subject to eligibility and rules of origin. Not every product qualifies automatically — we check eligibility per HS code and prepare the origin documentation that supports qualifying orders. Your customs broker has the final word at import.

Does Pakistan qualify for reduced UK import duty?

Yes — Pakistan is a beneficiary of the UK's Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS), the post-Brexit successor to the GSP. Many textile HS lines qualify for reduced or zero UK duty under the scheme, subject to eligibility and rules of origin. We confirm HS-code eligibility per order and prepare the supporting origin documentation — your customs broker has the final word at import.

Which countries do you export to?

We serve buyers across the UK, EU, USA, Canada, GCC, Australia, Bangladesh and beyond, with accounts already in the UK, EU, Turkey and Bangladesh.

Do you handle export documentation and logistics?

Yes. We support export documentation and coordinate logistics so your fabric arrives correctly and on time.

How long does shipping from Karachi take?

Indicative sea-freight transit times from Karachi: roughly 25–35 days to UK and North-European ports, 3–7 days to Jebel Ali and other GCC ports, and 30–40 days to the US East Coast. Air freight typically takes 3–7 days worldwide. These figures vary by carrier, routing and season — exact transit is always confirmed per shipment with the freight forwarder.
